Zombie Survivor Game FREEBIE!

Hey guys! Here’s another printable game for you, and this time there’s zombies! See who can win the title of Ultimate Survivor in this scavenger hunt type game.

It’s print and play–all you need to do is add dice!

The game comes with ten zombie baddies to defeat, various power up cards, survivor scoresheets, a record sheet, and rules. For set up, simply place all the zombie and power up cards in your play space, give each player a survivor card and a dice, and let them loose!

Each player must locate all the zombie cards and “fight” them using dice. If a player rolls higher than the zombie’s HP, the zombie is defeated. If they roll equal to or lower than the zombie’s HP, they lose a life.

There are power up cards that players can use to increase their roll, reduce a zombie’s HP, or team up with a partner.

I like to “hide” the cards to make it more challenging for the players, but you can decide how to set up based on your space. If you’re in a gym, for example, simply spread the cards out. You could add obstacles for players like chairs, benches, etc.

If you’re having a party and playing at home or in a backyard you have lots of opportunities for hiding cards, but make sure you set boundaries with your players so they don’t go tearing apart someone’s closet or something!

There are half page survivor cards as well as smaller ones, so you can choose which you prefer. If you want to reuse them, simply laminate and give players dry erase markers. Otherwise, you can just use a pencil.

You can choose how many power up cards you want to use depending on the number of players. For more players, simply print multiple pages of the cards.

There are two pages of power ups. The second page contains weapons such as axes, guns, and a knife. If you are playing in a school setting or would prefer not to use weapons, only print the first page of cards.

Remind your players to be honest about their scores and lives lost, as it really is based on the honour system. I find that “cheaters” don’t really have that much fun though.

I hope you enjoy the Zombie Survivor Game! Good luck!

AMONG US – Hidden Imposter Card Freebie

    Here’s another Among Us freebie!

It’s one of those hidden image cards, where the front looks all nice and unassuming, then BAM! You open it and it is more murder-y than cute. Looks like we found the imposter…

I made some with the kids just drawing them by hand, and they thought it was pretty cool. So I made a template to share with you guys! It’s in black and white so you can choose your own colours. We had a lot of fun with them and I hope you will, too!

      AMONG US IRL PARTY GAME

Among Us has become quite the craze during this pandemic. And now you can play it in real life!

Well, sort of. Obviously you're not going to be up in a spaceship murdering your friends and jettisoning people into space.

But you will have lots of fun pretending to murder them!

A bunch of kids I know recently decided that they want to make an Among Us game in real life, and asked me if I could help them. I looked at their unevenly sized cards that they had cut out of paper and their little minigame of fixing wires, and thought of how complex this process would be.

'Well,' I told them, 'I could help you now, but how bout you wait a couple days and I will be back with something really cool for us to play?'

Having delivered on bringing fun stuff before, they agreed. So I spent the weekend creating a printable Real Life Among Us Game

And when I brought it back to them, it was a hit.

The older kids loved it, and the littler ones had no idea how to play but had fun searching around for tasks nonetheless.

And I figured, well, there's a lot of staying at home lately, and this would be great for a family game night. There's nothing that says family bonding like wondering which one of your siblings murdered dad. Er, right?

Anyway, this could be great for:

      • Family fun night
      • Kids party
      • Grownup party
      • Youth groups
      • Whatever other gathering you can think of! (You know, once gatherings are allowed again.)

Here's what you need to play:

      • The free Among Us IRL download
      • A printer (or print service)
      • Laminating sheets and laminator  (for reuse)
      • Dry erase markers
      • Tape
      • Flashlights (optional)
      • Airhorn (optional)

I hope you can have some fun with this game like we did!

Get the download just below. It's free!

      Happy murdering!

        UPDATE:

Hey there! Someone has asked for an editable copy of the player cards, so here it is!

        There are two options:

        1. The first file is an MS Word document and is completely editable (you can change tasks, names, whatever you wish).
        2. The second file is in PDF format with blank spaces. You can print it as is and write in names yourself, or you can add text before printing using a PDF tool. (I recommend using I Love PDF–it’s a simple and free online tool.)
